I was at Sam Rayburn last weekend. I launched the boat, started it, tied it up, then parked the truck. After that I idle'd out of the no-wake zone and the motor sounded "funny". I went to get on plane and it would just plow. No RPM. I immediately put it in neutral and killed the motor. I let it sit a few seconds and restarted. It ran fine all day.
Can a prolonged idle cause the carbs to act up? I am not overly concerned because it ran fine after that.
Thanks,
Jason
