2001 200hp ox66????????

I have a a 200 ox66 when u spin the prop in neutral u here a tink, tink, tink like its not fully hitting neutral but linkage is correct and no matter which way u try the linkage adjustment it still does it until u lock it in either forward or reverse????

Just wondering if what you hear is the cotter pin flipping around. I had that once after removing the prop to check for fishing line and greasing the splines. I'd be fishing and every time I'd tramp on the TM button to move, I'd hear that "tink, tink". It turns out that the cotter pin was moving in the prop just a tiny bit and causing the noise.

hahaha got it u were close just a little loose and washer was slapping cotter key and prop hub THANKS
