???? On installing 10 micron water seperator filter and VST.

What all will I need to get, obviously the filter and the housing? What will I need as far as mounting the housing and what plumbing items to plumb the fuel line into and out of the housing?
Next........I assume it should be installed after the fuel bulb and before it exits the rear of the boat?
Also it is time to change the VST filter, will I need to change both the VST filter itself and Strainer 1 and Strainer 2 ?

The VST filter can be cleaned, and you don't need to change it.

As far as the 10 micron install, it all depends on which one you get, but they should come with the fittings you need. If not, they're common, standard fittings you can get at West Marine or most any other place, if the threads don't work or it's a different diameter than your fuel line or whatever. What probably won't come with it are the hose clamps, and you'll need two of those.

As far as installation, there's a couple of threads on here about installation. Try a quick search on here and see what you come up with. There's been some cool installations done, with custom brackets, and cool install tips. And yes, I'm pretty sure most call for it to be installed after the primer bulb....though mine came installed after the bulb and it works fine.

Mine had two tanks and the switch to run from dual, starboard or port fuel tanks. I dismounted that and used that brackete to old my filter head. Works greate. I ran each hose from the tank to the filter (2 in and 1 out). I have always ran from duel tanks so I did not need the switch. The cap is set for two in and two out. I just capped one of the outs with a brass fitting and a little plumbers tape.

Mine is installed after the bulb.

Install filter verticle. Also be sure to prime filter by filling it up with gas before you screw it on otherwise it will not get primed.

    Hope this helps.
