Well I got a call today saying that the series 2 powerhead that yamaha was going to put on my 2005 225hpdi under warranty was backordered and they were just going to send one that was fully "dressed." I have searched all over the internet and can't find a whole lot on what this means. I know it means that it will replace a lot of the other stuff that connects to the powerhead and was told that it will pretty much be brand new under the cowling. Can anyone help me out on this? Oh and props to Yamaha for doing this, I guess that's why they have a good reputation for customer service.
