07 250 HPDI low rpms

yesterday on the return back to the dock, my 07 250 will only turn 5100 rpms, I was turning 5700 with my power tech ofx 4 22P. any ideas what cause the loss in rpms? motor has 47hr. could my tach be off? GPS said 58 mph.

I just did a shock tretment of ring free 2oz per 10gal, and changed the plugs due to a lot of carbon.

Fuel / water seperater was changed 20hr ago.

I am going to change all 3 filters under the motor.

any ideas?

If the speed at wot is the same then its the tac. But if you lost speed check the link above and change the fuel strainer. Also check compression. IMO ethanol is killing our motors.
