    POST IMPELLER CHANGE WATER FLOW

Just changed water pump housing, impeller, and intake screens on my '87 GT150 per John Laws online great instructions. Everything went well excluding that#!*^# shift rod bolt. What a lesson in patience that critter is!

My question concerns water flow coming from the lower unit with the muffs on and engine running. Where exactly should water be exiting the lower unit? Front weep hole, left and right cavitation plate holes, and through the prop all disperse water. Should water be exiting all around the seam where the lower unit meets the lower engine?

I've tightened all the lower unit bolts to the specified torque and the lower unit mates perfectly to the engine. Is this normal to get some weepage between the engine and L/U?

Recalling a Rawlings commercial, instead of "T-Mac, save dude who's falling" we can change it..."ChampionMan, save dude who's falling!"
