Ringfree amount

What is the recommended amount of Ringfree to use???

I am sure a bottle in the US says 1ounce/10gallons of fuel.
In Canada it says 10millilitres/litre of fuel.

4 liters in a gallon(approx) and 33millilitres in an ounce.

Is there just a typo on the Canadian label, or with the exchange rate, is our ringfree less powerful??

maybe that is the shock treatment. The Canadian version is close to 1 oz per 1 gallon. I would just go with 1 oz per 10 gallons for maintanance.

I had trouble getting RingFree here in Canada so ordered some Merc QuickLeen which is basically the same product. I use 1oz per 6 gallons and switch to seafoam every 4th fill up.

For long storage periods over winter i just use marine Stabil. Everywhere around here has 10% ethanol but so far i haven't seen any issues or the need to treat the gas with additional products for it.

It's amazing how many dealers DON'T stock these fuel treatments or have even heard of them. I had to order a case of 12 bottles but i was set for this year and next.

Actually the shock treatment was even more than that.

I just had my Yamaha dealer here order me some in.
There are quite a few HPDI's here in Kenora and not a soul up here uses Ringfree.
