warranty or not?

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some opinions. I have been having some problems with my 2001 225 ox66 and the first dealer gave up on it, so I brought it to another yamaha dealer. This dealer found that my warranty on the motor was never assigned to the motor from the original buyer. They told me that they could activate it, and I recently received the warranty card in the mail. I explained to them what had been replaced so they didn't replace it again. I talked to the mechanic and he found that the crank sensor had a broken wire. I called him today hoping to pick it up. He informed me that he fixed the motor and ran it on the lake. It ran really good for a while until he blew up two cylinders. They are having a tech tear it apart next week. This is my worst nightmare!! They didn't know if warranty would cover it because of the previous work that was done on it by the other dealer, before the warranty was activated. Who is responsible? The dealer,the warranty, or myself.

Well the most important part is it's not your fault. I would think that your dealer that blew it up would be doing everything he can get to it covered under warranty so he doesn't have to pay for it. Yamaha should pay for it though, they are pretty good about stuff like that.
