+ 1 I'll second that after doing a bit of research and obtaining opinions lately!

I'm still playing with my setup but the T1-25P at 6000 handled very well. 1/4" higher on the JP this weekend we'll see how it goes.

Yes noticeable especially by dropping to the 25P from the 27P and raising the motor.

I'm looking forward to see what i get on the weekend... although I've since loaded up the boat with all my gear...bass season is FINALLY opening way up here sheesh

Max for the 05 is 5500, that is all I can get out of mine.

    Re: 2005 250HPDI (bluez21)

The advice seems to be to prop to 6000. I spoke to someone at hydro-tec and got the same advice and that's good enough for me.

Ask yourself why is the rev limiter set to 6150 if the max really is 5500... if it was 5500 then surely the limiter would be lower.

Blue if that is all she will turn (5500) and you have tried a smaller prop then you have motor and/or tach issures. It needs to be checked out.

That doesn't sound right. My 225 will turn my T1-25P at 6,000. Trouble is i can go faster with the 27P turning 5650

I just talked to the dealer and I am bringing it in to get the fuel system and filters changed etc and a new set of plugs.

On the Champ page, they keep telling me I should be spinning a 27
