    Water Pump

    How often does the water pump need to be replaced? I have a 06 225 Optimax and it was replaced two years ago when I bought it.

    I strongly recommend replacement of the water pump ANNUALLY in fishing applications (your gearcase ends up in some pretty nasty places throughout the year).
