Here are some more pics..I also took one of the opposite side where the bolt is still in place..
The photos are grainy, but you need to replace that bolt!
There is one on each side looks like it holds the hydralic cylinder in place.. Wonder if I can find one at home depot or need to otder from Yamaha..
do you have a Fastenal close to you they might have something?

Buy extras to keep in the boat... I have lost 3 of them in 2 years.. I've tried loc-tite, and everything else I can think of and it just doesn't want to stay in... The first time I lost one the entire bolt came out causing the front to drop off pad and plow water... I had a 30 mile run to get to weigh in and burned up close to 30 gallons of gas to get back...

I wish I knew how long its been missing???? The other one is in ther tight, I will be on KY lake this Weds before I can make it to Jet a I hope it holds up...
Make sure the bushing inside the cylinder did not slip down inside before you put the new bolt in or it will wear the the cylinder enough that you will need to replace it also.

Mine fell out too it is a metric 6mm I think I keep a check on them now I noticed my motor was making noise when lowering and found one missing
I used loctite on mine last spring after losing 2-3 of them. No problems since!

I lost one last year i put a new bolt from store metric 6mm sound right make sure its stainless steal or it will rust.
