So I had some problems previously posted regarding my engine bogging. It could be water in my fuel or air causing me to bog down after 1200rpms. i checked my spark plugs and all were pretty clean. Im going to change my fuel filter and get a water seperator and change my fuel in my tanks but if i did have water in my fuel, how long does it take to blow my engine?? I have a 1992 yamaha pro v 200. I ran the engine for 5 min before it started bogging down. Then another 10min trying to figure out why it's doing that. I have two tanks. My port side was almost empty and was like that most of winter. The starboard side is full but old gas with stabil. Here is what i think what had happened. I accidentally left the fuel selector on port fuel tank. I was supposed to use the starboard fuel since it has more gas and 10 gallons of fresh gas was added in it. So I ran the engine for 3 min before i switched it to run on the starboard fuel tank. I think I sucked some water and that's when the engine started bogging.
