My pressure guage now for my 200 OX66 works fine, but Ranger installed one that goes to like 50 psi, so all my readings are in the first quarter of the guage, and it's tough to read between 10 and 13 or whatever. It only moves a bit because the scale is so large.
I'd like to install a guage that reads to like 30 or something less than 50 so I can actually notice the needle move and watch my pressure as I trim the boat. What is there to installing a new guage? Does it read the the psi directly, were 10 psi is 10 psi, no matter the guage? I mean, if I install a new guage, will it read accurately, or is there a calibration along the way?
