Procedure to remove HPDI Fuel Injectors

I have a 2003 VMAX 150 HPDI. I am removing the fuel injectors to get then cleaned and tested. I have a manual that provides detailed diagrams, but not step-by-step procures to remove the fuel injectors.

Does anybody have a step-by-step expalination that will direct me on the removal. Also, are there any tricks of the trade that will aid the removal. I will comlile the information I gathered and take pictures of the removal to submit back to the board for future use by other members.

Also, the diagrams that I have say that a number of o-rings, seal rings and gaskets are not reusable. Is this accurate. I want to order parts in advance so I am looking for your advice.

I got the answer on the steps to remove. I am still in need of advice regarding the o-rings and gaskets. Which can i reuse?

I sent mine to Brucato for cleaning. They replaced all the o-rings on the injectors with new ones as part of the service.

Brucato does a great job on any injectors, however I’m not sure if they will replace your o-rings. Check with Linda first but im fairly positive that hpdi o-rings can be reused if in good condition. No one makes aftermarket o-rings for hpdi and oem are about $16 each...unbelievable!!
