Once and for all ...xd-50 or xd-100

I know its been addressed but here it goes,

I have a 97 Johnson 150 ficht that has always been run with the evinrude ram ficht oil, with no problems. My question is.......

Should I continue with the xd-50 and if so should I use some kind of attitive like Carbon guard or

should I use xd-100 and if so Do I need to reprogram the engine ?

Not worried about cost, I just want what is going to be best for the engine.
The engine has a total of about 180 hours on it, and i probably will put no more than 75 hours a season on it. New to the board, thanks for all the help.

If you not using it below 40 deg. then the XD50 is all you need. If your in colder temps you may want to run XD100 to prevent no oil lights.

There is NO reprogramming a FICHT engine for oil, that is only done on E-TEC motors.

So you recommend the xd-100, correct ???

Also what would you recommend as far as servicing this engine yearly? Thanks for all the help. I am new to this so I really appreciate all the advice, some of the other sights I have been treat newbies as though they are idiots so again I thank you guys for all the insight.
