    winterizing a yam 115 4 stroke

    what do you like to do to prepare a 4 stroke outboard for winter?

    When I had mine I just ran Sta-bil in the gas to keep the fuel lines and injectors clear and then fogged the cylinders right before I put it away for the winter. Also changed the lower unit oil to make sure there was no water in there that could freeze. Did that for 4 years and had no problems. Always started right up in the spring time.
