    Water Pump

I have a 2001 carbed vmax that i bought this past spring. I don't know when the last time the water pump was replaced. It seems to pee out fine. When do I know when to replace it?

I'd change it, that way there's no more guessing.

Not sure if you have a psi guage,if not i would install one and change the pump

You may only need a new impeller. The mechanic will be able to let you know once he takes a look at it.

    Re: Water Pump (2000yamaha150)

No less than 11-13 lbs.... More is better. But not at the cost of performance. No more than 3 years on a water pump in fresh water.

Yes generally you change the impeller and not the housing
