I have a 2001 carbed vmax that i bought this past spring. I don't know when the last time the water pump was replaced. It seems to pee out fine. When do I know when to replace it?

I'd change it, that way there's no more guessing.

Not sure if you have a psi guage,if not i would install one and change the pump

You may only need a new impeller. The mechanic will be able to let you know once he takes a look at it.

I'm basicly in the same situation however I have a water pressure guage and my water pressur is around 17-20 psi is this still pretty good? when should I look into doing mine? Thanks to any and all who respond!
No less than 11-13 lbs.... More is better. But not at the cost of performance.
No more than 3 years on a water pump in fresh water.
