Motor is a 2006 250hpdi
Hen trimming down and only down about 20% of the time I hear a clicking/popping/cracking almost like plasting that sounds like its breaking.
This only happened this weekend?
I have looked it over top to bottom and cannot find anything wrong or out of place. I spent 25 minutes trimming up and down almost drained a battery and cannot duplicate it out of the water. Any ideas??
Oh its on a skeeter 20I if it matters.
Chris, the ends of the trim rams need grease. I try and clean mine once a month (or there abouts) and then drop a small dab of a good waterproof grease on them.
You need to Grease the end of your Rod.
