If I run ringfree and/or seafoam regularly in my hammer, is it necessary to de-carb it every year? I'm just wondering if that is overkill. Thanks, Wally "FishnFed"

I use ringfree & Seafoam also, in every tank.
I'd say decarb once a year. I like doing it in the springtime.Reason is because once it's decarbed, I have a chance to really blow it out afterwards
, rather than decarbing it in late fall before putting away for winter, and then letting it sit all winter. Yuk!
