What is the best thing to clean the motor inside out and outside?

How often do you clean the motor?

And is there anything to spray on the motor inside and outside of the motor?

If you run it in brackish water, you should flush the engine after every trip. When I had my old ProV (1985), I used to spray the engine after each visit to the water with silicon and then wipe it off, lightly. I did this because I lived on the coast and the air seemed to have salt in it.
