    bolt tightness ? i think i got away with an oops

    i was wiping down my toon after my last rip and noticed a gap between my motor and ack plate on 1 side , shook the motor an found a lose bolt i am wondering how tight should these be ft lbs of torque...

    I tighten mine to 75lbs.. i'm not sure if that's the exact number but i check all the bolts each time out. I know it's 70lbs for the bolts from the motor to jack plate and 75lbs from the jack plate to the transom.

    thanks for the info... i will be sure to tighten them and keep checking.. funnt thing is i check my trailer tires every trip and keep the torque wrench in the bed of my truck..
