    Picked Up My New FX20 today and need some help (issues already)

    I finally took delivery of my new 14 FX20. I drove 8 hours from home to get her because I got such a good deal. Going to put it in the water tomorrow, but today as I was picking up the boat the issues started right away. Alarm system worked this morning when the sales rep was going over the boat and different functions. The they sent the boat to have it detailed and then all of a sudden the blue light came on and would not go off unless you pulled the fuse. It would not arm or do anything. They called Skeeter and they did the reset and skeeter told the service manage the module was bad? Starting not to be a good day. I got home, washed all the road grime off and started trying things out in the boat. Turned on the ventilation system, air was pulling in, but could not feel anything in the compartments. Turned on the Nav/Anch light. Workes at the console, switch does nothing at the bow. Am I missing something here? I had a Nitro Z7 before buying my skeeter. If anyone has any advice please help, it would greatly appreciated Thanks.

    I am sorry to hear about some of the issues you are having. The only one I have had with mine is the alarm started beeping at me when I fished a full tx in the rain. Two days later it went off full bore at me while I was out. Since the boat has dried completely out it has been fine. although the alarm feature is nice it is one that I most likely won't use much so as Lon as it stays quiet I will be happy.

    One of the reasons I went with sweeter is the dealer is 30 mins from the house an is the same place I purchased my previous Triton from. I may have paid a bit more but having a good svc department 30 min away is a comforting thing after all of the issues I had with my previous motor.

    Sounds like you have the alarm system figured out. There is nothing wrong with the vent and fan system - you won't "feel" the air blowing when the system is working, that is perfectly normal. Not sure about the bow switch for the nav lights but that can't be a difficult fix if the console switch is working. Having your dealer over 8 hours away will be a hassle for you with any brand boat.

    I got the nav lights working at the bow. Fixed the alarm too. I guess I was stressing over petty stuff. Took it out to day to break it in a little and man is this boat awesome. Fast, nice ride, and fishes great. I really love the layout! Thanks guys. I'll post a pic of it soon.

    Yep! 8 hours from my house to Marshall's Marine, and would do it all over again. The best deL within 500 miles and they have great customer service. They are sending me a new rubrail cause it looks like the guy that puts on the keelshield must have had the boat on a lift with no pads under the straps. Same exact spot on both sides but are ordering a new one and shipping it to me when it comes In. My next boat will come from them. I highly recommend them if you are looking at a new skeeter.

    Great Rig! +1 on Marshalls Marine I picked my FX 21 last Fri. They did the best job on boat delivery I have had yet. I'm about 2 and 1/2 hrs from them.
