Check manual online or from a guy with same engine or call a dealer...if not, most engines back then had a manual that said 5,500rpms...a few guys ran 5,700 or more...they write their own manuals... personally, stay at 5,500-5,700... that is my 2 cents after owning a few Yammies before this 2006.
