I have an '03 225 hpdi that I have personally logged over 300 hours on. I usually fish all year, but this year I put the boat away during the first week of November. I added some Seafoam and stabil, ran it a minute to get it circulated, and tucked her in for the winter. I pulled it to the lake last week for a tourney and she started first crank and ran like a champ without issue. I love that motor
I'm with you Mike. I had a fit:) when I bought my last boat. The dealer no longer ran Merc's, they went to Yamaha(Skeeter). I was about to pay an additional amount of money to get a Merc on it. They told me to try the Yamaha and if I just didn't like it, they would replace it with a Merc. That was 4 year ago,,,just bought a new boat with the Yamaha 300 Series 2,,,,,I'm a Yamaha guy Now!!!!! Great Motors.
