Is there anything special I need to know to install A cmc tilt & trim to my boat ?My boat is A cajun and pics are on this site. Its A 1978 Cajun Ultra 17' long with A 1977 Johnson 115 on it. The current trim &tilt is original I suspect and is missing parts to make operational.Ive found parts this age are hard to find.
I don't have any info on the after market trim.
according to the site you just pull the motor, install the trim plate and re-install the motor, you kind of get a jack plate and trim in one unit. Just follow the directions that are included. I think you said you had trim before so the wiring should still be there in the controlls. Blue up Green down, red power.
