    Recall

    Has any body heard about a recall on Yammie's?I was up on another board and they said something about one.

    There are Now I have some friends that have got there noctice in the mail in the last few weeks

    i got a letter from yamaha on the oil pump. mine is going to the shop next week at there exspence. better now than when something happens.

    Yup, got my notice too. Unfortunately I got the new pump installed 8 months ago when it failed.

    Be sure they do the compression test when they change the pump. That is part of the Service Bulletin!!!

    If you paid for the repair you are entitled to a full refund, at least thats how it works in the automotive field. Just contact your dealer and tell them you already paid for the repair and are seeking compensation.

    No, I didn't pay for the repairs. The only cost to me was 4 hours of drive time, 48 gallons of tow fuel, and a full month of being boatless bank trash..........
