What should I have done to my HPDI at the 40 Hour Mark. It is running fine I just wanted to know what should be done. On Triton TR 196.

Did you take it in for the 10 hour service?
A Yamaha shop manual is a good investment. Sorry, I know nothing about HPDI and high pressure injectors. The shop manual will have maint items in there.
I'd check the LU oil for water/metal fragments and keep an eye on water pressure, temperature, and 2 stroke oil levels in both tanks.
Good luck!
seafoam or ringfree regularly.
Ive run ringfree since the day I picked it up. I have changed the plugs and lower unit lube, greased everything and tightened exterior bolts myself. I had it in at 10 hours for a hot foot issue but as far as I know they didn't do anything more than hook it up to the computer and make sure it was running right. Motor is running great seems to have opened up after 30 hours or so and is running like a spotted ass ape. I have it in the shop for couple spider cracks and just wanted to know what else I should schedule them to doo.
you must be coming from a Mercury to Yamaha.![]()
You're doing fine. Keep the ringfree or seafoam in it and just follow the user's manual. rarely does yamaha make a lemon. a lot of failures can be traced back to improper breakin. They are known for their reliablity.
