    Water PSI Now

well I just wanted to get back with you all about my PSI

Sat I went out and I had

    3-4PSI at the dock
    8-9PSI @1500 RPM's
25 PSI Plus before triming out just being on plane
    18 PSI @ 5700 RPM's trimed 3/4 out
    17 PSI @ 5750 RPM's trimed 3/4out

They started to Drop fast at 5800 RPM's I'm going to run this for a few weeks and see if I have the problum come back of the PSI just droping like it was before I cleaned the line and Gauge. and if it does start back up then I'll replace the Poppet valve with the new one. If Not I 'll just run it this way till winter and them replace everything

I do think I'm going to drop the motor down just alittle also because at 5800rpm's I start to Slow down on speed

Thanks all for all the help

    Re: Water PSI Now (macinckirk)

It looks like your ok now. I have a 2002 VMax 250 OX66 and I have the same psi as you. As long as it doesn't get below 12 psi at WOT your good to go. I haven't had an alarm go off yet.
