Pics of Poppet Valve Location on 2000 HPDI 200

Well I just checked my Poppet Valve beening that I'm have a small probluem with Water PSI, and with 1 of my props coming back sometime this week from Mark I'm trying to do as many little thing as I can first.

Ok the way these pics are is from the time I started to put it back togther, and it is step by step picks. All I need in tools were 1/4" drive and 10m and 8m and few other things you will see in pics.

This is the 1st time I have done this and it took me 3.5hr taking my time




























I just want to say this site is Great and I'm Lreaning New stuff everyday. I hope these pics help someone else

Very nice pics, I think it took me about 4 hours but that includes tracking down a lost part in the water jacket . Have you had a chance to run it yet? I even noticed an increase in water pressure on the muffs where as before I would get an overheat alarm while running on the muffs.

Did you replace it with the newer post 2005 style valve?

I ran it today on the lake and my PSI is at 25 now, I didn't put the new 1 in this time I just pulled the spring apart alittle and put it back in.

Next time I do it I'll replace it with the new 1

Oh and when I pulled it apart I really didn't see much junk in there it do look clean
