    Question for Wayne at Hydrotech

Wayne, when are you going to start offering milled head and cams for the Yamaha F150?

That's a good question! Supply and demand, so far there has not been enough demand?

Re: Question for Wayne at Hydrotech (Wayne Worthy)

Wayne - Milled heads would be nice. If Hydrotech wants to discuss this, let me know.

Re: Question for Wayne at Hydrotech (Musky Mike)

Different cam shafts would be difficult, as these are only a Yamaha part. The F150 has a compression ratio "CR" of 9:1. Another point or point and a half of CR would definately help.

Re: Question for Wayne at Hydrotech (PSM207)

The F200-225 run 9.9:1 and the F115 runs 9.7:1 on 87 octane gas. I think we could run 9.9:1 on 87 octane and 10.3 on 89 octane gas. I keep hoping that Yamaha was going to bring out a F175 at 9.9:1 and new cams, but it has not happened yet. It would also be cool if someone made a better exhaust tuner.

Looking at the service & parts manuals leads me to believe a tuner isn't possible. At best, an additional point of compression might yield a 10% increase in power. I believe the F150 produces more than 150 propshaft horses.
