I'm not so sure. If my calculations are correct, it comes to over $20 per gallon once you include shipping. I get bulk Yamalube from my local marine dealer for around $15 per gallon.![]()
This is not "BULK" oil that you "HOPE" is Yamalube 2M....
I would never buy oil from a bulk tank....

The price is different all over the country. This may be a good deal for some and average for others.![]()

I get my Yamalube 6 gallons at the time out of a bulk Yamalube barrel from the dealer, $15. They have bulk Yamaha, Mercrury, and Evinrude. Guess you just have to trust your dealer if you don't know them personally.

Mike, why would you not buy bulk oil? I have been doing this for a while now and I do not want to continue if there is a chance that I may have an issue.
There is nothing wrong with bulk if you get it from a reputable dealer. But, if you use Amsoil, as many people do, you will have a hard time finding it in bulk. I would be afraid of less reputable dealers refilling their drums with the cheapest thing they could find.
kb here what i have seen yamahalube in 55 gal drums can and do sit a while and there are additives that will settle you can shake a gal pretty hard to stir a 55 gal drum kb

I'm anal about certain things..... I use Amsoil because I think it's better, I don't even want to chance that a dealer could buy cheap oil and fill my jugs with it in the back room. Most dealers I know of around here, I would not put this past them.![]()
There are tons of oils that look blue....Like said above... How long has the oil sat there?

Take it from me. I know my dealer did this to me.Bought new boat with Yamaha on back. Called around town to a few yamaha dealers. One did and the other didn't. Well the one that did "sell" yamalube in bulk was the dealer i bought the boat from. After several trips, the last one they told me to just walk to the back and just find someone to fill it up. Well low and behold, the whole 1 1/2 yrs. i was buying bulk yamalube was really quicksilver. Not saying anything is wrong with qs, just don't tell me it's yamalube and sell me something else. Then every time i would go get refills, it was never the same price.
After i run out of the quicksilver, i'll be switching over to yamalube.

Okay, I agree with that. The dealer I buy bulk from has been very honest with me, usually they run out and ask if I want something else. That tells me that at least they are going through enough very quickly and it is the right stuff. They have asked if I wanted the E-tec oil but I did not know enough about it so I passed.
All you got to do is smell it and take a little sip of it , PARANOIA WILL DESTROY YA !!![]()

Got my case in today. Super fast shipping, right to my door. No sales tax, and I didn't have to drive to my nearest dealer. (50 miles each way) Thanks for the heads up.![]()
I can get 5 gallons here in Austin, 2 2.5gallon jugs, for $83.
$83 is thta a deal?\\
$15 x 5 gal = $75
It should be cheaper if its bulk
