The blue or grey? Nothing I have found sticks as good as OEM. But Dupli-color spray can 505M GM Blue was a perfect match for my lower unit.

I used primer, color and then dupli color clear coat. You should use a green etching primer.... I did not and it still looks pretty dang good.
It came out better than I thought it would.![]()
I bought the HPDI LU as is in the top pic..... I dont run mine through the sand like that.

Abu you can get the actual paint from Color-Rite but it's expensive and I'd only recommend that for the cowling touch ups. http://www.colorrite.com/CRPLf...d.y=8 . For the lower unit I'd just do what Mike did or use Rustoleum dark blue, it seems to hold up about as good as anything I've ever tried, and it's reasonably priced.

Thanks for the info, I have the grey lower unit but will see what wally world has for a close match.

I posted a link in the general section for you.
Just an FYI for everyone. If you use the Dupli-Color cans, the color will not look like the lids, until the clear coat is applied. It really changes the color once the clear coat is on and dried. I could not find the GM505M color in dupli-color around here, but I found Plasti-kote Truck and Sport Utility paint in #1533 Dark Shadow Blue Metallic that is also very close. With the clear coat and a buff, it looks very good.
