First time out with 250 HPDI and I have a problem .. HELP !

First, Happy Hoildays to everyone !!

First time out today with a 07 Ranger Z21/07 (who knows) 250 HPDI and after about 30 minutes of fooling around with the boat and motor she suddenly shuts off. I restart, try to get on plane and she shuts off again. Try a third time and she cranks but doesnt turn over. I troll back to the ramp, load up, and take a look at the motor. We empty the fuel filter, and try to prime the engine and nothing comes out. No gas going to the engine. She worked like a charm in the morning I dont know what happened. Any thoughts? I have to wait until Tuesday for a Yamaha tech in my area. Thanks guys !!

Maybe the fuel/water seperator filter (between tanks & engine is plugged up)???
Should be a Large, Blue screw-on filter (Just like a truck oil filter) somewhere inside the rear compartment of the boat. It should be between the tanks, and the primer bulb. Did you check that filter??
