I leave my rig under a metal carport. I also trim the motor all the way down so water will drain. Is there any chance of a freez-up? Anything else I should do?

Mine just sits outside with boat cover on. MN winter. Mine seems ok from last winter. Oh yeah, keeping the motor trimmed down is a good idea.

Charger, Mine sits outside like yours. I jack my trailer up enough to put the boat at a slight angle. I also pull the plug to drain any water that might be in the hull. I also trim motor down as you did.
Hey Charger
One word of caution. Be sure that you have checked or changed the lower unit
lube and that there is NO water in it. I allowed mine to set up in below freezing weather without checking. Had a bad seal and there was water in the lu and it resulted in a lower unit and gears which ended up costing me over 3 grand. Don't guess, check it out.
