    caberator adjustment????

If I take off the carbs on my 1990 prov 150 and put on a different set to try out. Will i have to adjust the ones I take off if I decide to put them back on. In other words will I mess up the mixture on the ones I have on now if I don't like the new ones?

    Re: caberator adjustment???? (tpgrealty)

The only thing there is to adjust is the idle speed (one) and the idle air mixture screws (one on each carb...). But its not a big deal. The idle air mixture screws are typically just 1 - 1 1/2 turns out from a light seat. The idle speed screw is just adjusted to obtain the correct idle speed. Do you have a service manual for your motor? Its explained in there. If you don't have one you can go to http://www.Yamahapubs.com and order one.
