    Help with my DF200

I'm on a remote lake in NW Ontario and my oil change sensor just started beeping. (2004 DF 200) I changed my oil but I dont have my owners manual with me to remind me how to turn off the beeper and light on my tach. Anyone out there have their manual handy. No dealers near here.

    Try this...I'm still searching..........

Reset the oil change warning light on many Suzuki 4-strokes: Turn on the ignition key, without starting the engine, remove the black emergency switch which is on the lanyard, pull up on the emergency stop switch three consecutive times within 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, you have to see your dealer probably.

Ok still found the same thing. try it let us know. also make sure the oil level is good before reseting it.

That is what I was looking for. I'd read it before but I dont have my manual with me and couldn't remember the details. Only one more question, Do you know what color wire goes to the kill switch ( my control doesn't have one) I'll just ground that wire 3 times.

So there is no kill switch that connects to you??!! I have no clue as to what color it is.

I can do some more searching. my guess is look at the key switch under the das and remove the Neg. wire and connect it 3 times to see what happens?

Re: Help with my DF200 (JoePA)

No kill switch. In boats over 21' they are not required. I'm going to put one in just for resetting the alarm. The boat is deep enough that it would be difficult to be thrown out at speed. But for now I have to find the wire color. I know the wireing diagram in the owners manual shows it but I dont have the manual with me (1000 miles south of here ). So if you have your owners manual available and dont mind looking, you may be able to find it for me.
If not, Thanks for all of your help anyway.

Might want to ask in the lounge too...might be a dealer there to help.

Also where are you staying in Ontario?

I found this on the suzuki marine web site for canada. Says he is a dealer..might give him a call to see if they can help too.

Thanks for your help JoePA. I found another boater up here with their owner's manual. The info was correct with the kill switch. The kill switch wires are green(kill) and black (ground) in case you ever need to know.
