    Question Optimax...reasons for beeping?

I know of only two reasons the engine alarm beep comes on...those are low oil and overheating..I checked both of those and I'm good.

Does anyone know other reasons the beeping comes on? Also I've heard a beeping noise and once today it was just a steady alarm not beeping, then went off on its own.

    Any ideas?

There are DOZENS of potential causes of a warning horn on your Optimax.

The only way to ACCURATELY determine the cause is to have the engine connected to the Computer Diagnostic System for PRINTOUTS of:

    -Run History
    -Freeze Frame (Fault) History

Information in these reports will be useful in determining the cause. I'd be more than happy to review reports by email (if necessary).

BTW... you need to update "location" in your profile (include your STATE).
