Im not getting spark on one side. The other side is firing fine. Any ideas?

    Re: 99 175 EFI (jaycount)

Jaycount,a quick and very easy test with probably 95% accuracy is to start the motor[if it will start] and rev it to 2500 rpm,if the dead side comes to life its a bad low speed winding[stator],if it still has no spark at 2500
    its most likely the switchbox.
If it has no spark on the side that fires the injectors it wont run,you can switch the stator red and blue wires for the red/wht and blue/wht[top two right side terminals on the switchboxes],and try again. If now it runs, but only on the one bank, you have a bad stator, most likely...if ive confused you call me,i talk more chearly than i type,chris,305-394-3354

We swapped the switch boxes around and the other bank started firing so we think that's it. Got a Sierra replacement locally. Installing it now.

I'm at the BBC Midwest rally on Table Rock so I appreciate the quick answer
