    NGK (3133) BPZ8HS-10

This is what my 2000 Merc 200HP EFI calls for.

I have no complaints so I guess if it is not broke don't fix it. These are hard to find locally so I will be ordering online.

Anyways, would you use a Champion equivalent in your outboard? All the local places want to cross reference to a Champion.

I have a freind that used did not like the NGK and used Champion plugs in a 2003 225HP Merc. No issues for him. I have an 05 200 HP Merc and use the NGK

Really would recommend providing your SERIAL NUMBER (there WERE changes in spark plugs around this vintage).

    Use ONLY NGK plugs, however.

    Re: NGK (EuropeanAM)

I will supply that when I get near the serial number..

    The plugs in it are...

    BPZ8HS-10

    The Manual calls for BPZ8H5-10

There is no BPZ8H5-10 in NGK's catalog.

    NGK's catalog lists the BPZ8HS-10 for a Merc 200EFI (Year 2000 model)

    Re: NGK (slinkeey)

BPZ8HS-10 is correct for 2000 production year model... but it is best to confirm by serial number (as Mercury does not use YEAR MODELS... they use the production date and SERIAL NUMBER for engine identification).
