first off i have a 1995 mariner super magnum 2.5l 150hp that is only using oil from the tank that is on the motor and not the one in the bilge area ...any idea as to wat could cause this ? and is it safe to run this way as long as i keep check on it to make sure it has oil ? thanks !
You either have an AIR LEAK in the pressurized portion of the system (to the remote tank), a restriction in the supply of oil BETWEEN the tanks, or a lack of pressure being supplied from the crankcase pressure fitting/check valve.

Due to the critical nature of the oil injection system, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND running the boat again until this problem has been addressed.
