Yesterday my 2000 model 200 EFI died after about 5 minutes into a run. I immediately noticed gas running out from under the cowling. No sirens, sputtering, smoke, or any indication something was wrong. Once the boat got to the dock I was able to get the cowling off and found where the gas was coming from... it looks like an oil filter on the driver side of the motor (assuming its a fuel filter). When I pumped the bulb it would squeeze gas from the top of the cylinder. The cylinder was loose and I tightened it a whole turn and now no gas comes out from anywhere and the bulb is able to be pumped tight, however the motor still will not start. I tried it again today and still nothing. Do I have a major problem on my hands or is it something really simple that I dont see? Im not knowledgeable at all about these things so my descriptions might not be good at all but I can try to give more details if needed. Thanks![]()
