I have a 2005 Optimax 135 with Smartcraft and will be using the motor for trolling on occasion. My question is about using the troll control, if I dial down the rpm's as low as they will go, do I need to reset that when I am done trolling?
What is the normal idle for this motor, and will it just automaticly go back?

In general- troll control is only functional in forward gear, AT IDLE.
If you shift into neutral, accelerate, turn the key off, etc- it will deactivate and return to normal engine idle RPM's.
Actual RPM's at idle vary from one calibration to another (based on the program in the engine's PCM). Engine specific information such as this requires the engine serial number.
Or... simply start the engine and watch the RPM's in neutral after engine is warmed up. Idle speed is PCM controlled (you'll have a real good idea of target idle speed from the Smartcraft RPM's).
