Reply Water Pressure Gauge on a 94 150 EFI

Hey all, I want to install a WPG in a 94 Procraft w/ Merc 150 EFI. My question is this, There is a fitting on the top rear near the flywheel with a hose running down the rear of the motor. It already has a T in it and the small hose that is coming out of it was run to the speedo. I disconnected the hose at the speedo and plugged it as there was an external speedo installed and the hose was just plugged under the dash. Is this the right place to connect my WPG?

The engine water system is NOT connect to the speedometer.

On the rear of the engine there is a hose coming off using about 3/8" tubing. This will run down the back to the pee hole of the engine. That is normally where you would connect for your WP gauge.

Instructions are in the box/kit you purchase. Just follow them and all will be fine.

The speedo hose is much smaller and will be coming up from the front of the lower unit near the steering connections.
