This MAY simply be an indication that the engine is still in break-in mode.

However... since the break-in clock should have already expired (PROVIDED that you followed the break-in proceedures PROPERLY)... I would highly recommend that you have the engine connected to the Computer Diagnostic System for PRINTOUTS of:

    -Run History
    -Freeze Frame (Fault) History

I'm always happy to review printouts if needed (by email).

Thanks Don , The flashing symbols were like that from the git go from the time i picked the boat from the dealer. I ran 4000-5400 rpm first 2 hrs and even did a complete cool down as you suggest at 1.5 hrs. At 2.5-3hrs ran the rpm up to 5700briefly . Ulrich Marine rigged the motor ,aaFred has benn a high perf dealer for many years and assumed everything was checked for warranty purposes. I am sure it was not over reved,or ran with no less than 15-20 lbs of water pressure

Did you keep the trim TUCKED DOWN, and/or jackplate LOW during the first THREE HOURS?

This is imperitive.... as the break-in clock only counts down when the engine is under HEAVY load, and at RPM's above 3500 RPM's.

Don ran again today ,and when we hit 4 hrs on smartcraft the flashing alarms went away. The motor sems to miss alittle from 1000 rpmto 2000 rpm then when on plane runs awesome. I am thinking that may clear up after doubleoiling. We do run your Mercury cocktail without fail. Even been putting some on my Cheerios. Thank you for your time
