Moved motor on jack plate, now it won't run.

I had my 06 225 optimax out a couple weeks ago and it ran perfect. Then I took it to my marine and they checked the plugs, fuel filter, computer. Everything checked out fine. I then had them move the engine down on the jack plate an inch and a half. Took it to the lake. It started just fine, let it idle for a few minutes, went to take off and it flooded out, couldn't get it started again. So I trimmed it up and noticed fuel leaking out of the engine. Let it rest for an hour. Started it again and the same thing happened. I also noticed the bulb losses pressure after awhile. I also noticed if you trim the motor all the way up it compresses the bulb. I don't think I trimmed it all the way up prior to this problem but it is possible. Any ideas? THANKS

your fuel line probally needs replacing...
trimming it up, probally doesnt have anything to do with it...
i have replaced 3 in the last 2 years....then i started running DONS cocktail, and KNOCK ON WOOD, haven't had to replace any more...

See the following post.... and ensure ALL recommended items have been addressed AT THE SAME TIME:

You may have additional problems.... but I would recommend addressing these items as a starting point.
