    Mercury Gear Case Question

What are the differences in the Mercury 2000 225hp Optimax EFI 3.0L four gear cases? I understand there were four gear cases for this year motor: Fleetmaster, Torquemaster, Sportmaster, & Servicemaster. My question pertains to what the differences are that would affect the cutout on an Allison Foil. I ordered an Allison Foil and they sent me one but it would not fit because the cutout was completely wrong. After a few email exchanges and discussions, I was told they only make foils for the Fleetmaster and Torquemaster. My gear case is the Standard Servicemaster and I was wondering if a foil for one of these other cases that Allison makes a foil for would fit my gear case or, are these two gear cases completely different from mine? I don't know which gear case the foil they sent me fits but the cutout is round at the front and the foil that would fit my gear case needs to be pointed or triangular shaped. I hope that makes sense. Thanks.

Servicemaster: Standard production gearcase. Had a longer anti-ventilation plate, standard propshaft, and totally different case geometry from the below cases.

Torquemaster: Heavy-Duty RACING Gearcase. Torque-tab cast into the skeg, drain plug in bearing carrier, later models of this case have 1-1/4" Propshaft.

Fleetmaster: Same as above, WITHOUT the cast-in torque tab. Not intended for single-engine applications (usually used in MULTI-engine applications).

Sportmaster: Essentially same internals as the Torquemaster, with a longer, sleeker design, and ONLY a surfacing water pickup on the underside of the nose of the "gearcase bullet". Intended for boats that benefit from higher engine mounting heights, running surfacing propellers, and operating at speeds in excess of 85 MPH.
