    Cold natured 225 pro xs

Don I have a 2006 pro xs serial #1B389277, It runs great all the time except when the water temp is cool I would say less than 50 degrees. What happens is that it will usually idle fine in neutral but sometimes cut off going into gear. It has cut offi in neutral but that isnt common. If I idle in gear for say a hundred or so yards it will likely cut off. I have changed all fuel lines, bulb, spark plugs at .044, filter, run non ethanol fuel, quickleen, and It does this the wordt on initial crank up and mostly when Im taking out it idles much better. I can idle around and the motor just seems smoother. I runs fine all the time other than idle. Is this something I should accept or take a deeper look at. It bothers me its not consistent and only shows on cooler temps.

    Thanks Don

You're probably wise to look deeper.

Some of the potential causes would include:

    -Thermostat(s)
-Temp Sensors (Port, Starboard, or IAT)
    -Reeds (poor sealing or damaged)
-DIRTY INJECTORS or DIRECT INJECTORS ( See: http://www.europeanmarine.org/injectorservice.html )
