Not sure where to start..... I have a L/U from my 1999 225EFI.It was built by Titus with low water pick up. anyway, I took the motor up to my mech a whilr back to have it timed, sink and link after JSRE rebuilt it. At that time i noticed the seal was pushed out a bit.????To make a long story short in the Am's it was around 28/29 deg all week. Well it has a crack in it... So I think I found a fleetmastercase( BBC
motor parts). Is it worth sending both to you and change out the guts?

BEFORE pursuing this.... please provide YOUR engine's serial number.

If JSRE rebuilt it.... it's likely not a 3L model.... meaning that the 225 Optimax gearcase won't fit.

Thanks .I've read enough of your posts to know you always want that info.I included the S/N of my 99, but after rereading my post it was not clear as to what motor it went to.

Nevermind... After rethinking this, If my case was sitting for 2 years and had some water in it, the gears may not be any good.
