OK HERE IS MY QUESTION. I HAVE ONLY 2 NON-ETHANOL GAS STATIONS WITHIN 20 MIN OF MY HOUSE AND BOTH ONLY GO UP TO 91 OCTAINE. WOULD IT BE SAFE TO RUN THIS FUEL?
OK HERE IS MY QUESTION. I HAVE ONLY 2 NON-ETHANOL GAS STATIONS WITHIN 20 MIN OF MY HOUSE AND BOTH ONLY GO UP TO 91 OCTAINE. WOULD IT BE SAFE TO RUN THIS FUEL?
91 is the minimum octane rating for your engine. So, if the station is offering 91 (R+M/2 method) octane.... that fuel "meets the minimum requirement for your engine".![]()

I do not recommend octane boosters. FAR better to start with an appropriate octane fuel.![]()
I have heard some good reports on the "Aces" product, but have not personally tried it myself.
