    300X Mid

This may be a crazy question , Don or who ever want to jump in ? Why is the mid on the 300x & 300 xs motors so much bigger than the 250 xs & 250 pro xs motors

    Re: 300X Mid (rchavis)

Stronger, with better lateral support due to added horsepower and torque. Designed for OFFSHORE RACING (in rougher water conditions)

Not all of the 300XS models are different, however.

To better clarify.... the 300XS utilizes the same driveshaft housing as the 250XS/250 ProXS, and most of the other common 3L models. There are two different swivel bracket & trim configurations available (offshore version and integrated (or standard) trim).

The 300X (EFI), on the other hand, did utilize a deeper/thicker appearing driveshaft housing.
